Hello my name is Jonathan Tipton I am an Affiliate Marketer from Kentucky. I have learned over the years from trail and error the mistakes that can be made when trying to run an Affiliate Business and be successful at it.
My True Story
My first attempt was a fail from lack of knowledge in 2008. I was new to it and didn't know the proper steps to take to become successful Affiliate Marketer. I simply thought at the time is was easy as copying and pasting links with your affiliate id into a post or blog and banking on it.
Not knowing at the time there is more to it then a simple copy and paste. And expecting commission checks in return. The problem was I was not treating it like a Business but more like a get rich quick opportunity and having false hope in big payouts but in return being disappointed in the results i was getting.
After many failed attempts I discovered that there is a light at the end of the tunnel. That light comes through when you realize that becoming a Successful Affiliate Marketer is Business and not a get rich quick opportunity and then you will realize the missing pieces of the puzzle comes together.
Let me ask you this? Would you buy a product from someone who is flooding your inbox with random Affiliate links not knowing weather or not it's spam mail or a legit product? Of course not you would simply delete it right?
Of course you would. There is a process you have to do in order to become a Successful Affiliate Marketer. A process in which you show Value to your clients.
Value vs Price. Think about when purchasing a product what do you get out of the deal?
For example lets say you pay $199.99 for a product or service and that product or service makes you $3000.00 in return commission checks. You would consider that an Investment right?
Of course you would it's how Business works. The value by far outweighed the price of the product or service you payed for.
There is free alternatives in promoting products with your Affiliate ID like social media and Blogger posts like this one I'm showing you. But as far as reaching a very large Audience on an International level you need payed Advertising.
Your need a real website with your own domain name BlueHost for example is a great tool for web hosting.
You need the Prime Business Package don't cheap out and get the basic package. Your building a Business and building a Business takes money.
You need traffic to your website or websites. Paid Advertising such as Google Adwords, Udimi or go.taboola.com
is a great method for example.
How do you expect Big Returns if you cheap out on investing into your Business Or Brand?
You work hard for your money and grind to keep them paychecks coming. Do you want Freedom?
Be your own Boss? Work at your own convenience anywhere that has internet connection?
